How does EazyPay work?

[What is EazyPay?] [What is an Utility Service Number?] [How much does it cost?] [ EazyPay Merchants] [Adding a Merchants] [How safe is my debit card] [How does it work?] [What payment methods can I use?] [Help! I lost My Username or Password] [Error Codes]

EazyPay provides a payment link between the merchant and the subscriber. It ensures that the merchant receives the payment made by the subscriber (usually within 24 hours). A full accounting, reconciliation and reporting service is included in this process.

The subscriber is given a receipt as proof of payment and merchants have all transaction records delivered to them electronically within 48 hours. All money due is paid electronically (also within 48 hours).

To pay a merchant using EazyPay, the subscriber needs the Utility Service Number that appears on the bill presentment document of his merchant. This number can either be the subscriber ’s NITEL service account number, Meter account number (for PHCN), DSTV decoder number (Multichoice) or some other number as defined by the merchant.
